Produced by pressing the flesh of avocados, this oil is rich in vitamins A, D and E in addition to potassium and lecithin. It is extremely rich in oleic acid and mono saturated fats, making it one of the few oils that can penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize hair, as well as having the ability to carry nutrients from other ingredients in to the hair shaft. Caprylic triglyceride is the mixed triester of glycerin and caprylic and capric acids. It is made by first separating the fatty acids and the glycerol in coconut oil. The resulting oil is called capric or caprylic triglyceride. It has different properties from raw coconut oil.
